At Chef & Crew, our staff are the heart of our service. We believe in professionalism, respect, and safety for everyone involved — from our chefs and helpers to the clients they serve. This policy outlines our expectations, standards, and code of conduct for all staff members.

Professional Conduct

All staff members are expected to maintain professionalism at all times. This includes punctuality, cleanliness, proper behavior, and a respectful attitude toward clients and colleagues. Staff must follow service guidelines and perform their duties with honesty, care, and dedication.

Verification and Training

Every staff member undergoes background verification and identity checks before joining our platform. We also provide orientation and skill-based training to ensure quality performance, hygiene standards, and safety awareness.

Workplace Safety

Safety is a shared responsibility. Staff are required to follow proper hygiene practices, handle kitchen equipment carefully, and maintain a safe working environment. In case of any unsafe situation, staff must immediately inform the Chef & Crew management team.

Dress Code and Hygiene

All staff must maintain personal hygiene and wear appropriate, clean attire during service hours. Chefs and kitchen staff are encouraged to use aprons, gloves, and head coverings where applicable to maintain food safety standards.

Client Interaction

Staff must treat every client with respect and courtesy. Arguments, unprofessional communication, or any form of misconduct will not be tolerated. Personal contact details should only be shared through official Chef & Crew communication channels.

Service Boundaries

Staff must perform only the tasks assigned under their service role (chef, helper, housekeeper, etc.). Taking on additional or unrelated work without prior approval from Chef & Crew is not allowed.

Payments and Reporting

All payments to staff will be handled through Chef & Crew’s official system. Staff must not accept direct payments or tips without prior approval. Any disputes, issues, or delays in payment should be reported immediately to our support team.

Confidentiality

Staff members are expected to respect the privacy of clients. Personal or household information seen or heard during service must remain strictly confidential and should not be shared under any circumstance.

Misconduct and Termination

Chef & Crew maintains a zero-tolerance policy for theft, harassment, substance abuse, or unprofessional behavior. Any staff member found violating these terms may face suspension or permanent removal from the platform.

Support and Communication

Our management team is always available to support staff members. Any concerns, grievances, or suggestions can be shared confidentially via email or phone. We value our staff and continuously work to create a fair, safe, and supportive working environment.
